新西兰溢油

10月5日雷纳号货船在新西兰陶朗加港星盘礁附近发生溢油。
新西兰海事部门估计雷纳号泄漏了约350吨油，据信该船装载了1900吨原油和柴油。尽管国际救援组织正在抢救该船，但由于天气状况恶劣，过去几天中事态进一步恶化。
雷纳号出现结构故障，船壳出现裂纹。这是由于船尾仍然浮在水面摇摆而船头触礁，船体运动引起的。
现在需要紧急空中监视。目前的天气状况不利于此类作业。因此需要适合的对地观测系统应用帮助探测污染情况。船东正在尽力减少对环境的进一步破坏。
