巴拿马洪水和滑坡

在巴拿马共和国的西部地区发生的洪水和山体滑坡已造成9人死亡。其中包括20多间房屋被毁，近100万人无家可归。

2014年8月17日，奇里基省大雨过后发生洪水和山体滑坡。巴拿马共和国总统已宣布全省进入紧急状态。自灾害以来，救援受灾人员做出了很大努力。

降雨造成奇里基省的奇里基Viejo河决堤，导致洪水涌入塞罗蓬城。来自河流的强大洪水摧毁该省三座桥梁，救援人员已经搭建了一座临时浅滩供救济和撤离。洪水造成的破坏进一步扩大，致使碎片沿河冲下。

一辆载有4个人的公共汽车在行驶到部分坍塌的路段时，汽车冲入河里，造成车上4个人全部死亡。洪水还将20个人困在 Las Nubes上，原因是河水上涨时，将他们困在一个岛上，但于这20人于8月17日得到救援。
