日本地震
4月14日，日本南部的熊本县东部地区发生了6.2级地震。据报道已确认有49人遇难，3000多人受伤。
强烈地震使得数千人无家可归，只能离开家园去寻找安全地带。据报道，地震造成了建筑物倒塌，电力中断。多次余震继续冲击该地区，使抗震救灾工作受到影响。
6.2级地震并不大，但浅层地震发生在人口稠密地区下的10公里，对该地区造成严重损毁，其后几天预计会有几次余震。
