古巴飓风马修

第四类风暴飓风马修于10月4日穿过古巴东北海岸，带来了大雨和强风。

目前尚无伤亡事件报告，随着飓风的临近，近一百万人被撤离。但许多房屋遭到破坏或毁坏，数十万人仍然留在救援避难所，直到 - 或如果 - 他们可以返回家园为止。

第四类风暴处于萨菲尔 - 辛普森飓风量表的较高端，用于对可能造成"灾难性"破坏的风暴进行分类。

飓风马修对加勒比地区的16个国家造成了影响，对附近的海地造成了破坏性的影响。风暴袭击古巴后，向北朝着巴哈马和美国移动。
