Tropical Storm Wipha in Vietnam

Tropical Typhoon Wipha formed on 16 July 2025 and made landfall in northern Vietnam on the morning of 22 July.

No casualties or damage were reported in Vietnam; however, an estimated 350,000 Vietnamese soldiers were placed on standby due to heavy rainfall and the risk of flooding.

Wipha had already affected Laos and Thailand, bringing strong winds, torrential rain, flooding, and landslides.
