Fire in Argentina

Two extense wildfires occurred in Argentina, one in Córdoba and the other in San Luis.

The fire in Córdoba burned through 91,000 hectares (910 square kilometers) leaving charred livestock, forests and fields in its wake. Over 20 homes were destroyed, and people in the area were evacuated during the event due to the threat posed by the fire and the quantity of smoke in the air.
