Become a Data Contributor
To participate as a Data Contributor, organizations must meet specific criteria and follow an approval process. This ensures that the provided data aligns with the Charter’s operational needs and standards.

Responsibilites
Data Contributors play a key role in disaster response by ensuring the timely availability of high-quality EO data.
Data Contributors responsibilites
- Providing satellite imagery and metadata to support Charter activations
- Ensuring data meets processing standards (e.g., radiometric and geometric corrections)
- Delivering data via the Charter Operational System (COS-2) or an agreed-upon repository
- Maintaining an operational point of contact for coordination
Registration process

Application
Please submit the registration form, together with a cover letter of the user organisation, to the Executive Secretariat, which coordinates Charter operations, at ExecutiveSecretariat@disasterscharter.org. - 02
Evaluation
The Executive Secretariat will review the application. If the initial criteria are met, the applicant will be asked to provide sample data and metadata for further assessment. - 03
Approval
Successful applicants will be granted approval to serve as a Charter Data Contributor. - 04
Integration
Approved Contributors will work with the Charter to integrate their data into COS-2 for future disaster response activities.
