Hurricane in Haiti
Extensive flooding caused by Hurricane Jeanne caused more than 1,000 deaths in Haiti. Severe flooding in the city of Gonaives have affected 80% of the population and most of cropland were flooded. In addition, 30% of the city of Port-de-Paix was also affected by the flood.
