Become a Project Manager or Value Adder
To participate in the Charter as a Project Manager (PM) or Value Adder (VA), you must meet specific criteria. These roles enable the processing and analysis of satellite imagery as well as the management of activations during crises.
Project Manager requirements

Experience in satellite remote sensing and disaster management

Project management skills and expertise in data delivery networks

Proficiency in English and the ability to collaborate with international partners
Value Adder requirements

Experience in satellite data analysis and processing
- 02
Access to appropriate Geographic Information System (GIS) tools and image processing software
- 03
Ability to produce and deliver value added products, providing a preliminary analysis of disaster areas
Responsibilites
Value Adders and Project Managers play key roles in Charter Operational System (COS-2) operations, ensuring the effective use of satellite data for disaster response.
Value Adder (VA) responsibilites:
- Processing and analyzing satellite imagery to generate value-added products.
- Delivering maps, reports, and other geospatial products for emergency response.
Project Manager (PM) responsibilites:
- Coordinating disaster response activities within COS-2.
- Managing data acquisition and interaction with space agencies.
- Overseeing the delivery of processed satellite data to end users.
- Reporting on activation outcomes and reviewing data quality.
