Flood in Bolivia
On 16 March, heavy rainfall caused the Pilcomayo River in southern Bolivia to overflow its banks.
The resulting floods affected 10 communities and impacted over 1,000 families in the municipalities of Villa Montes and Yacuiba.
Floodwaters also extended into neighboring regions, affecting Argentina’s Salta Province and parts of Paraguay.
