イランの地震

11月12日の18:18にマグニチュード7.3の地震がイランのケルマンシャー州を襲いました。

約400名が死亡し、数千名が怪我をしたと報告されております。
報告ではSarpol-e Zahab町が最も被害を受けており、70,000名が救援を必要としていると見積もられております。
 
ケルマンシャー州はその大部分が山岳地域ですので、救援活動は地すべりにより難航しております。
当局は余震の中、住民を建物から離れるように駆り立てました。その地域の多数の建物はこの規模の地震に耐えられない構造でした。
 
リチャースケールでは7.3は最上級であり、比べることが出来ないほどの被害を与えた地震が分類されております。
アメリカ地質調査所によると、地震は深さ25kmと浅い箇所で発生しました。
