Cyclone Jude in Madagascar
On March 8, Cyclone Jude made its way through northern Madagascar as a moderate storm, impacting over 4,000 people, resulting in one fatality and one injury. over 3,000 people were forced to seek refuge in temporary shelters located in the Maroantsetra District.
On March 10, Jude developed into a tropical cyclone and made landfall in the Mossuril District of Mozambique.
Response teams were on alert for Jude's possible intensification and westward trajectory towards southwestern Madagascar between March 13 and 14.
