October 20, 2020, will mark the 20th anniversary of the International Charter Space and Major Disasters. To commemorate this milestone we are publishing monthly features looking back on the history and some of the achievements of the Charter during the past 20 years.

We are also releasing special productions for the anniversary. The first of these is a calendar for 2020 that showcases a selection of imagery acquired by Charter member satellites. The images were all provided to support past relief efforts and highlight the variety of disaster types for which the Charter has been activated. The digital version of the calendar is available to download, along with the individual images from each month, which can be used as desktop backgrounds.
