Flooding in South-Eastern France
The Charter was activated September 9, 2002 by the French Civil Protection authorities (DDSC) after heavy rains started over the Gard department in the South East of France on Sunday September 8, 2002. The water level of rivers Gard, Gardon and Vidourles rose and quickly the area was flooded.
