Flooding in Sao Tome and Principe
Heavy rainfall and flooding have caused damage across Sao Tome and Principe.
Several bridges have been either damaged or destroyed, including in Lemba and Cantagalo. Roads across the country have also been impacted, disrupting traffic. There are reports of fishermen missing and two children have been killed in flood-related events.
Officials have declared a state of emergency in response to the damage.
