Flood in Vietnam

Floods in northern Vietnam have caused extensive damage, washing away hundreds of homes and killing at least 26 people, with another 15 people reported missing.

The government's disaster agency reported severe damage across four provinces, including damage to roads, water systems and fruit and rice farms. Over 200 houses were reported to be washed away with a further 400 affected.

5000 soldiers, police and local residents have mobilised to search for the missing and provide disaster relief.
