Earthquake in Türkiye

According to the Prime Ministry, Disaster and Emergency Presidency Earthquake Department data, an earthquake of 5.8 on the Richter scale rocked the region of the south-eastern province of Elazig (south-eastern Anatolia) with its epicentre in the Kovancilar County in the early morning hours of 8 March. Latest reports mention 51 casualties and over 60 injured. There happened more than 150 aftershocks in the region.
