Earthquake in Thailand
On 28 March 2025, Bangkok, Thailand, experienced strong tremors from a magnitude 7.7–8.2 earthquake centered in Myanmar.
The shaking caused structural damage to several buildings, including a collapsed skyscraper under construction, and prompted evacuations. Rescue teams searched the rubble and reported survivors in the days following the quake. Authorities conducted building inspections, temporarily closed damaged structures, and coordinated response efforts to ensure public safety and stabilize infrastructure.
