Earthquake in Thailand

A powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck 16 km NNW of Sagaing, Myanmar, causing tremors felt across various regions of Thailand, including the northern areas and the capital, Bangkok.

The shaking prompted alarm among the local population, with reports of buildings swaying. At a construction site, a partially constructed building collapsed, resulting in injuries and affecting several individuals.

Authorities evaluated the damage and provided assistance to those impacted.
